This skylight crosses the roof of your home and naturally illuminates your rooms

Today, thanks to the ingenuity of the industrialists, it is possible to light up your house using as little electricity as possible. We spoke to you for example a few months agoEspaciel, a French startup that markets a reflector which attaches to your window to increase 50% the brightness of your rooms. Today, we present an innovation that is not new but that is just as ingenious and that we owe to one of the giants of the middle: Velux.

Velux commercializes indeed a whole system which makes it possiblelight his pieces so natural thanks to a skylights which is fixed on the roof of these and crosses it. A concept that does not date from yesterday since the light by reflection was invented by the Egyptians who used mirrors to illuminate the pyramids. But the light pipe system as we know it was created and developed in 1986 in Australia by society Solatube.

This arrangement, which is fixed on the roof of a building to cross, is composed of three elements for the diffusion of light and a sealing element. It contains a window (or a dome light collector), a roof sealant, a transmission tube and finally a diffuser. This system therefore makes it possible to benefit the most from the natural light emitted by the sun and thus save energy.

You will find more information on the official website of Velux who markets this innovation that proves that with a good dose of ingenuity, we can make great energy savings that are good for the planet.
